Roaming Wireless Broadband is a broadband service that is available whether you are at home, in your office or travelling*. It involves a wireless dongle that plugs into a USB port on either your desktop or laptop computer. It works off the Optus 3G & “yes” G mobile networks.
 

Unlike ADSL or fixed wireless, where your broadband service is only available in one location, roaming wireless broadband has the advantage of being a fully mobile service, being able to use it while travelling, as well as just at home.
 

How it works
McMedia Wireless Broadband connects you to the internet using the Optus 3G and ‘yes’ G mobile networks. To get connected all you need is a McMedia approved wireless modem and to sign up to one of our roaming wireless plans listed below.

Important note: All Mobile Broadband plans will be suspended once your download limit is exceeded unless other wise requested, if service is requested to be re enabled an excess charge of 15c per mb will apply.
